Reacting to his death 11 years ago, Keppy Ekpeyong said: “Why J.T? Since the sad news got to me early this morning through a nurse friend of mine, I have not been myself. He was a very good actor and a complete gentleman.”
"He came, saw and affected lives through his numerous movies. He would be missed by all of us. Adieu my good pal,"Oby Edozieh had said.
Born on July 9, 1965, J.T was popular for his role in action films, including the classic "State of Emergency," which starred him alongside Saint Obi, Bimbo Manuel, Ejike Asiegbu among others.
His rugged looks often led him to be cast as the tough guy, but he was equally skillful in easy-going parts.
J.T's other movies include "The Captor," "The Price," "Last Weekend," "She Devil," "Gangster Paradise," among others.
