Imagine HBO’s Game of Thrones, but where the thrones are blocks, and instead of trying to lord over the imaginary continent of Westeros, your goal is to build and share it. Meet WesterosCraft: A Game of Blocks, a project inspired by George R.R. Martin’s Song of Ice and Fire series comprising the most stunning Minecraft vistas you’ve ever seen, bar none.

The almost unfathomably detailed shot above is of King’s Landing, the continent’s capital city, and yes, it was completely hand-assembled. According to one of the designers, building just King’s Landing took a little over four months, composed of an estimated 3,000 unique buildings, “all hand made and all fully decorated on the interior.”

WesterosCraft’s goal? To recreate the entire continent of Westeros (already 70% complete back in March). You can view their server progress live right here.
